SUPERVISOR'S OFFICE

The Supervisor is the chief executive officer of the township.

The township supervisor has several duties prescribed for her to carry out by order of the General Assembly. She serves as supervisor of general assistance and chairman of the township board of trustees. She has voting power the same as the trustees on the board.

The township supervisor is also treasurer of all township funds including cemetery funds.

Also, by virtue of being township supervisor, she is ex officio treasurer of the road and bridge funds.

The Township Supervisor is a member of the following boards:
1. Chairman of the Trustee Board.
2. Member of Township Board of Health.
3. Member of the Township Canvassing Board.
4. Member of the Township Electoral Board.
5. In the case of a township in a multi-assessing district the supervisor is a member of the multi-township board of trustees.

The Supervisor's office maintains the list for the county home beds.
